Thank you, Amazing Creator
for loving me
in a way
that no human could do
For showing me
that I am worthy
of that love
That perfect love.
Yet any and every time
I try to find that perfect love
here on Earth
here in another person
I will be disappointed.
But it’s a reality that
we just can’t love
the way you can
we are flawed
sometimes selfish
often clueless
So I will
stop looking for
perfect love
in people
I will be satisfied
with finding it
only in you
And I will let people
be imperfect in their love
just like me.
Know My Worth 
This is beautiful. It’s important to recognize our limitations. And when we lower our expectations of others to something more realistic, we can receive so much more of what they want to give; their imperfect love.

Thanks for your comments. I haven’t thought about human imperfection from this angle but I have been mindful that we all have good and bad in us…those contradictions…and accepting these.
It will be quite incredible when we are with God 24/7 instead of experiencing glimpses and moments. God Bless xx Rowena

Hi Christine,
I struggle with acceptance because my situation is an ever-shifting carpet but perhaps that means accepting the unpredictability of life.
I have struggled personally with the serenity prayer which emphasises acceptance because I had my expectations of myself constantly stretched and challenged and have achieved the inconceivable. Despite a debilitating muscle disease and hydrocephalus, I have managed to learn the violin and ski…neither are easy. I pulled these off through very small steps without any expectations of success. Things get quite complex.
