How are YOU?
November 29, 2012 by Christine of Worth&Wisdom
Why am I always
so focused on me?
focused on how I feel
or how you don’t
notice
When was the last time
I asked about you?
Why am I sitting
in a deep hole
a pit
of myself
It’s dark in here
I am alone
focused on myself
on me me me
It’s time to bring in some light
and all I need to do
is ask about you

Christine, the past few weeks were hard, but I am okay now. How are YOU?? I do the opposite. I am so concerned with others that i forget me.

Aww, thank you sweet friend for asking, I am actually pretty fab these days. And you proved my point – I’m so sorry the last few weeks were hard for you, and so glad to hear an upswing in progress. xo

The beauty of asking about others is that reaching out, caring, loving and helping others really does allow us to get our minds off our own pain, and it also makes us feel better–don’t know why, but it does work!

Definitely! This is my theory on why – when we reach out and think about others, we allow God’s love to flow through us like an open waterway, instead of being blocked up and getting stagnant… (oh boy, I feel another water post coming on here…). Anyway, when we allow his love to flow freely, we can’t help but be cleansed along the way!

Bless you!
I love this one!
It’s exactly the problem with a lot of people.
I also learned to reach out to others to forget mine; it works always.
It’s not a trick; it is giving Gods Love to another person.
The knowledge that you may be part of someone elses happiness
gives a deep understanding of Gods Love for all of us.
